Bakers Cottage in Cockermouth was the perfect retreat for my hiking getaway in the Lake District. the cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy sitting area. the free WiFi was a nice touch, allowing me to stay connected while enjoying the stunning surroundings. I particularly enjoyed the private patio, where I could relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere after a day of exploring the nearby hiking trails. the convenient location made it easy to visit nearby attractions like Gretna Green and Carlisle Lake District, while still being able to unwind in the tranquility of the countryside. the proximity to Newcastle International Airport was also a bonus, making my travel arrangements seamless. I can't wait to return for another relaxing getaway in the future.
